The holiday season in New York City is something that needs to be seen to be believed. From light displays and ultimate shopping destinations to the legendary New Years finale at Times Square, there’s something for everybody to experience in the Big Apple this winter. But you don’t want to traverse one of the greatest cities in the world without one of the world’s best vehicles.
Luckily, you don’t have to — because you drive an Audi. The most difficult part of this holiday season won’t be coming up with places to visit in NYC in your Audi, but rather narrowing them down. We’ve got you covered. At Jack Daniels Audi of Paramus, we’re your choice NYC Audi dealer, so we know a thing or two about The Empire City.
Here are five holiday traditions we highly recommend.
Our 5 Favorite NYC Holiday Traditions to Experience in Your Audi
Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall
You can’t visit the city that’s known for Broadway without attending the Christmas Spectacular. Based out of one of NYC’s most famous venues, Radio City Music Hall, this annual smash hit features nightly lights, digital visuals, and song and dance numbers from the iconic Rockettes. The Audi Q7 sits up to seven, so book as many tickets as you’d like.
The Largest Menorah
There’s a reason they call Hanukkah the “festival of lights.” Standing 32’ tall, The Largest Menorah can be seen sparkling at the entrance of Prospect Park. And with latkes and live music always nearby, it’s no wonder this is NYC’s premier Hanukkah event. Attend it in the new A7, Audi’s full-size luxury sedan.
Empire State Building
New York City’s most famous skyscraper is a sight to behold 365 days a year, but it’s a true world wonder during the holidays. The top of the Empire State Building is lit a brilliant red and green during December, so you’ll want to take plenty of pictures from the street. But the breathtaking 360-degree views of the city from the rooftop are what will win your heart.
Rockefeller Christmas Tree
You’ve probably seen enough Christmas trees to know what they’re all about. But you haven’t seen the Christmas tree. The Rockefeller Christmas tree typically stands around 100’ tall above an ice rink full of holiday skaters and sports tens of thousands of dazzling lights. Don’t sweat if you missed the lighting ceremony because the spruce is on exhibit through the first week of January.
Union Square Holiday Market
New York City is the perfect place to be if you’re in the market for some holiday cheer. Everything from trinkets and ornaments to food and drink awaits those who shop at the Union Square Holiday Market. With over 100 booths, there’s a lot to choose from. That’s why it’s a good thing that the Audi Q5 has such accommodative cargo space.
